Blue Bubble Lane

What we'd like to bring to you

Imagine you had never seen a garden. It seems impossible, doesn't it? Many of us have walked in gardens, smelled the flowers, listened to the trees blowing in the wind and watched the birds. But the truth is, not everyone has access to gardens.

Most towns and cities have parks and almost every city or large town in many parts of the world has a botanical garden, or perhaps an arboretum (a tree park.) But particularly in very built up areas, there can be a real lack of a good garden - a place that sprawls with flowers, vines, fruit trees and vegetables. Somewhere that bees and birds and many important beetles and bugs can find refuge. Where soil and sun and rain meet, and where Nature is nurtured for its own sake and for the good of other species, including us.

These spaces can save us. Heal us. Give us connection with the land beneath our feet; not concrete. These spaces can ease our tired eyes and our busy minds and give us peace. These spaces can be there for us at all times. These are the gardens we use for healing our minds, our hearts and our spirit, that give us leisure or laughter, find us like minded friendships and feed us with their innate beauty.

Bringing Horticultural Therapy to others is part of what we aim to do, at Blue Bubble Lane.
